August 23:  Bereavement Volunteer Training

Bereavement support to hospice families following the death of a loved one takes many forms, and volunteers play a significant part in this aspect of Family Hospice's care. Learn more here.

August 28: CEU Program for Professionals

"Communicating Bad News: Developing the Right Message" offers two free continuing education credits for RNs, Social Workers, Nursing Home Administrators and Personal Care Home Administrators.  Learn more here.

September 6: Annual Memorial Walk/5K Run

 Friends of Family Hospice is in the thick of preparations for this one-day sale of quality donated items. Details here. Due to the generous response to our request for sale inventory, Friends is no longer accepting donations of furniture or holiday decorations for this year's sale.

September 27:  Triumph Over Loss

Triumph Over Loss is a free, one-day activity designed to provide fellowship, purpose and healing for teens between the ages of 13 and 18 coping with loss. View brochure here.
